When gravity sewer installation in poor ground conditions combined with a high water table posed an unacceptable risk to our client, they engaged Eire Constructions. As experts in the water and sewerage industry, Eire Constructions has successfully delivered many complicated projects in site conditions similar to the Bullocks Run project.
Bullocks Run is a 52 lot rural sub-division located in the Great Lakes region in a secluded residential area close to popular beaches.
The project included approximately 20,000 cubic metres of earthworks, two kilometres of road construction and five kilometres of combined utilities installation.
The gravity sewer provided the greatest risk to the project given the high water table and depths of mains ranging to six metres. This was carefully managed by Eire Constructions through the use of Spear Point Dewatering and sumping by our expert construction team.
The project was completed in May 2017 and will provide an idyllic location to reside.
