Project Overview
Eire was selected by Hunter Water to deliver the Hazchem 3 Program, a multi-site upgrade designed to improve the safety, reliability and environmental performance of critical water and wastewater treatment facilities across the Hunter region.
The project involves the design and construction of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and process upgrades, including new leak detection systems and hazardous chemical storage improvements at multiple treatment plants. Delivered while maintaining uninterrupted plant operations, the works ensure continued compliance with water quality and wastewater treatment requirements, with no impact to local communities.
Managing multiple live operational sites simultaneously, the Hazchem 3 Program showcases Eire's expertise in delivering complex water infrastructure projects safely, efficiently and collaboratively, helping to protect both people and the environment.
