Project Overview

Eire Constructions was engaged to deliver the Lorne Road Upgrade, a vital infrastructure project improving safety and connectivity in regional NSW. The scope included road widening, pavement reconstruction, and upgraded drainage systems, completed through difficult terrain and variable weather. Eire worked closely with Council and local stakeholders to maintain access for residents and emergency services, while minimising disruption to the surrounding community.

Environmental care and engineering excellence were central to the project’s success, with Eire implementing effective controls to protect the nearby sensitive ecosystems. The Lorne Road Upgrade was recognised as a finalist in the Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) Earth Awards, celebrating innovation, environmental management, and construction quality. The project stands as a strong example of Eire’s capability in regional delivery—balancing complex logistics, community needs, and technical execution to achieve lasting outcomes.
