Eire Constructions was charged with completing of contract works for the expansion of a Holiday Park at the picturesque Seal Rocks for the NSW Crown Holiday Parks Trust.
The works included the construction of new roads, retaining walls, drainage infrastructure, water and sewer utilities and electrical reticulation services for the park.
The works were completed whilst the park is still in operation, requiring a collaborative construction approach among our client, park management and patrons. The interface between all stakeholders was managed through regular planning meetings with park management and a transparent construction approach, keeping all parties up to date with the latest progress.
Another major constraint for the project included the remoteness of the site. Poor mobile reception made communication with our project management and construction team difficult to complete planning meetings, organising of resources and suppliers. This challenge was overcome by ensuring our project management had a regular presence onsite to secure the success of the project.
