We’ve achieved a spectacular milestone at Eire Constructions, having officially launched our first-ever contract with Sydney Water, the $19.7 million Creek Connect project at Cosgrove Creek. This high-profile venture highlights Eire's elite management standards and ability to execute highly complex engineering.
Led by CEO Tadhg Kelliher, Eire’s expert team is already delivering rapid progress, laying the critical wastewater infrastructure needed to fuel sustainable development across the booming Sydney Science Park region.
Eire has officially kicked off works on the Creek Connect project at Cosgrove Creek, marking an exciting milestone as our first project for Sydney Water.
The $19.7M project will provide critical wastewater infrastructure to support growth in key development areas, including Luddenham, Northern Gateway, parts of Agribusiness, Dwyers Road and Sydney Science Park. The project will help enable sustainable urban development by conveying wastewater to the Advanced Water Recycling Centre at Kemps Creek. The scope of work includes the construction of sections of the gravity carrier pipeline, along with all required temporary works to support delivery. This includes pipe laying, maintenance holes and ventilation shafts as part of the broader wastewater network.
It represents an important step up, as it requires a higher standard of management, more complex delivery, and higher quality. This will strengthen our presence in the Sydney Water delivery space.
The project is already making strong early progress, with the first pipes now laid and works underway on site.
To mark the start of delivery, CEO Tadhg Kelliher and members of our senior leadership team recently visited Cosgrove Creek to tour the site, meet with the project team and see progress firsthand. The visit was a great opportunity to recognise the work already completed and reinforce the importance of delivering the project safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Congratulations to the team for the positive start. We look forward to seeing the project continue to take shape in the months ahead.
