Key Works: Wastewater leak detection system upgrades
EIRE was chosen by Hunter Water to deliver critical upgrades across multiple water and wastewater treatment sites. This project involves the design and construction of processing, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical elements of the wastewater treatment process.
These upgrades will ensure the safety of Hunter Water staff and their subcontractors. It will also eliminate and reduce the risk of chemical spills within the wastewater treatment works, providing safer and greener operational performance.
This project will work in conjunction with Hunter Water’s Leak Detection Pit system – ensuring that all the redesigns improve the performance and reliability of the existing systems.
All physical upgrades will occur during low operational peaks, ensuring there is zero impact on local residents. Any works completed will maintain the operations and compliance required for water quality and effluent treatment during construction works.
The Hazchem 3 package is a multi-site project, where works will be completed simultaneously. Management of these sites and all its moving pieces display EIRE’s thorough project management skills.
