Key Components: 3.6m x 7.8m deep sewer pump station and valve pit, gravity sewer main from new sub-division under rail corridor, 1.6km of sewer rising main, and bridge pipework crossing.
In preparation for a new subdivision in the regional town of Kendall, EIRE has been selected to upgrade the existing sewer infrastructure. These upgrades are being delivered to support the expected increase in population.
This project will see the EIRE crew deliver a new sewer pump station and valve pit, as well as the construction of a gravity sewer main that runs underneath an active rail line.
EIRE has already taken on significant community engagement with local residents being briefed on the upcoming works. The biggest challenge of this project will be working under the rail line, ensuring the utmost safety of our crews as the gravity main is installed underneath the tracks.
