Gemlife is located in the growing suburb of Lake Cathie, just south of Port Macquarie. This luxury retirement village estate signifies the continued trend that the Mid North Coast region has become one of the state’s most sought-after places to retire. Gemlife living focuses on high-quality, master-designed living with exceptional facilities and homes.

Eire was selected to deliver the foundational works for this site. The scale of this project has so far seen over 3,000 truck movements on and off-site through this small, but growing community. Careful community consultant and engagement, as well as specialised machinery with low ground pressure footprints, keep this project moving with minimal disruptions to local residents.

Our crew have also been working around existing infrastructure, this includes high voltage underground power, water mains, and sewer. Utilising detailed site plans, working closely with subcontractors like GeoTech, and keeping a high level of communication across the team have kept this a safe project site.

This massive subdivision project has many moving pieces, but our crew have been able to work hand-in-hand with our client to deliver the best outcome for everyone involved.

Despite significant wet weather, and delays due COVID-19, the EIRE crew have been finding innovative solutions to help GemLife residents get into their homes sooner. This project has taken a collaborative approach, with our crews working alongside GemLife home builders to help reduce the impact of the delays. Collaboration and stakeholder engagement in this project has been vital to the delivery of this project.
