Moving with the times

Eire Constructions is the proud owner of a newly constructed ‘Drake’ Quad-Axle Low Loader.

Eire Constructions procured its Haulage and Transport division five years ago in order to supplement the civil side of the business and provide greater reliability to our clients by ensuring we can mobilise at short notice. The Heavy Haulage and Transport division has played an instrumental role in providing convenience to our sites and external clients. The division continues to grow from strength to strength

When purchasing the new low loader it was a no brainer said Operations Manager, Tadhg Kelliher, ”Drake as a brand and as a manufacturer is synonymous with the Heavy Haulage industry and quality.”

When Eire Constructions considered purchasing the float there was no stone left unturned when it came to ensuring the new float was fit for purpose and to provide customer satisfaction.

The new float was equipped with bi-fold ramps to make for easy loading and a rear steering axle group to ensure it could manoeuvre easily into those hard to reach places.

”We also opted to go for the rear steering axle group on the float, as it will decrease our fuel use and tyre demand. At Eire we try to do our bit for the environment,” Tadhg said.

Eire Constructions would like to thank Drake for their unparalleled customer service and professionalism when negotiating the deal and during the manufacturing period. A special mention must go to Byron, Khali and Sam for their efforts. Cheers guys

Be on the lookout for the new low loader transporting our fleet on the roads around Port Macquarie, ably piloted by the obsessive operator ‘Roachey’.
