Eire Constructions has been awarded a contract by Dungog Shire Council to relocate approximately 400 metres of water main along Park Street and Durham Road, East Gresford.
The works are necessary to allow for road upgrades in the central business district. The works include the relocation of the existing water main, installation of the new main and commissioning of the new main, and completion of connections to Hunter Water customers in the area.
The main is to be installed in a developed area with pre-existing services. Our team will be ensuring that the main is installed with minimal disruption to existing services and residents.
Eire’s experience and expertise will enable our crew to overcome several challenges with the project, including the existing services, close proximity of the main roads, the interface with the public and shallow rock profiles.
