As part of Port Macquarie-Hastings Council’s $54 Million Road Reseal and Rehabilitation Program, Eire Constructions installed 1500 metres of sub-surface drainage along the length of Lord Street between Gordon and Hill Streets.

The road resurfacing works were completed to secure the lifespan of the section of roadway, improve ride quality for motorists and improve pedestrian and cyclist safety.

The works were completed under traffic control managed by our construction team which proved challenging given the high traffic load on the section of road. Notwithstanding the traffic load the installation of the drainage went smoothly with the least possible disruption to traffic.

The works were completed with zero incidents or complaints
