As part of the Australian and NSW Governments’ commitment to provide a four lane divided road from Hexham to Queensland, Eire have begun work on the 14 kilometre stretch of Pacific Highway from Kempsey to Kundabung for McConnell Dowell OHL Joint Venture.
The $230 million dollar project involves the duplication of the existing highway, construction of a new interchange at Kundabung Road, upgrading of local roads, and the construction of new rest areas and bus stops.
Eire have been engaged to backfill 11 drainage structures along the length of the road alignment adding to existing plant hire contracts running concurrently on the project.
Eire was selected to complete the works due to our reputation as a civil contractor that can deliver cost-effective projects on time, and our high quality road construction, excavating and earthmoving solutions.
